Our Mission
The mission of Eastside Preparatory School is to guide students to
- Think critically,
- Act responsibly,
- Lead compassionately, and
- Innovate wisely.
Teacher Qualifications
Successful applicants for classroom positions are innovative, energetic teachers with a desire to interact meaningfully with their students. Eastside Prep's interdisciplinary program makes teamwork an essential component of the teaching program. Teachers should be interested in working closely with other faculty and administrators in the continued development of our inquiry-based and interdisciplinary curriculum. Past experience in interdisciplinary curricula is advantageous but not required.
In addition to teaching, faculty positions include being an advisor for a small group of students, writing thoughtful comments as part of the student review process, maintaining communication with parents, and being involved in the extracurricular life of the school. Teachers who are excited to challenge themselves as well as their students and to be part of a dynamic educational environment are a good match for Eastside Prep.
